The Forever Ends 1/10

This is a real story..., and let me tel you one thing, “all the characters and events depicted are not fictitious. Any resemblance to a person living or dead is purely coz its a real story.”

There is no villain or hero in this story... or you can itself decide who is the villain and hero. The story will be progressing in the view point of a character called Shahid

Shahid is an average guy who was born in a middle class family...just like every other middle class teenage guy, he also had lots of dreams. He always wanted to make his parents proud, earning a lot of money, and apart from that he wants to have a career in cricket. His only dream in life was cricket. He was talented, and used to get a lot of appreciation wherever he went to play and so he had got many opportunities to play .People use to play on the ground but he use to play even while he is walking, running, sleeping. He was fully addicted to cricket. He always believed that one day he will succeed in cricket, he knew it is difficult, but he still was so sure he will succeed.

On June 3rd 2009

Shahid got up so early... It was his 1st day at college, like every other guy, he was so excited, on the first day he went to college along with his mother. He had to travel almost 35 km to get there, he started early, Still he was late to college, because he had to cross the Herculean task of kuthiran valley which is very much famous for traffic jams. By the time he reached there, the program had started. At the entrance he saw the name of the college written in golden letters, Don Bosco College. He felt really good when he saw that board, because finally he reached the college level moreover he reached one step closer to his big dream of cricket. He entered the college and looked around for a while and then went to the college auditorium for the orientation program. He had got an admission in a christian missionaries college. May be that’s the reason his orientation program was really different. Since he was late to the program, he was sitting at the last row. In between, someone comes and hands him a candle. Later the principal Mr Paul asks everyone to stand and light the candle as a sign of a fresh beginning. Shahid felt bit weird but still he lit the candle. But it was a beautiful view while everyone held a candle in their hand. Shahid was looking at the students around and suddenly his eyes stuck somewhere. He had seen something really beautiful. He saw a girl standing in the 1st row holding a candle in her hand. Her smile was making her even more beautiful. He looked at her for a long time. She was wearing a blue top and skirt, his world felt stuck for a minute.

The candle light was making her look even more beautiful and her face glow. But he didn't had any feelings for her. It was just that he was mesmerised and lost in her beauty. It was like we all look to see a beautiful flower, or a baby. Nothing more nothing less. His orientation class ended and he left for home. On the way back, her face came to his mind.

Next day he left for college little earlier by keeping kuthiran valley in mind. But kuthiran had a better plan for him, He was again late to college, by the time he reached college, classes had already started. Unfortunately the first hour was taken by Fr. Jiby who was also the director of the college and was well known for his strict behavior, and everyone was scared of him. Shahid was already aware of him through his senior friends. Suddenly when he find his director in the class, he realises that he is going to get screwed. With a lot of fear Shahid asked: Father may I come in?

Father: who are you?

Shahid: father I'm studying in this class, (with a fumbling tone)

Father: why are you late?

Shahid: father there was traffic on my way to college that's why I'm late.

(To that father made a sarcastic comment and everyone started laughing)

Finally father said "get in"

Shahid was relived and took a long breath.

Since it was his first day, he looked for a place to sit, he always loved to sit in the 3rd or 4th row, but unfortunately all were full .Actually we students have a typical tendency where we fill the back rows first and leave the first benches empty, the same happened in this class as well...

He saw that except the 1st bench row all other rows were full.He cursed everyone in this world and sat on the first bench. He was feeling a bit awkward to look at people, because when father made the sarcastic comment on him, all the students laughed, so he found it uneasy to look around. Slowly Shahid wished the person who sits next to him, and the person replied with a : shhhhhhh..... the class is on, shut up and listen... So Shahid kept his mouth shut for sometime, slowly he has turned towards his right side... And his jaw dropped ... He couldn't believe his eyes.
