The Forever Ends 3/10

Since Amy's friends strongly believed that Shahid had got some feelings for Amy, they made a plan to expose him. They knew that Shahid use to look at her all the time during the class. Since Amy and Shahid sits in the same row its Easy for him to look at her. So their plan was to change her place. There was a girl named Revathy who took initiative of the plan since she was the girls representative in the class and she was the only one who had the eagerness to expose the truth. So the plan was that girls has to shift their seats everyday. Like whomever is sitting on the first bench had to move to the last bench on the 2nd day and people who are sitting on the 2nd bench will come to the 1st and it has to keep rotating like that. Shahid was not aware of these things.

Next day he came to class as normal and he started searching for Amy. He couldn't find her on the 1st bench. Shahid was so disturbed. He started to think, what would have happen to her, why is she absent? He was totally disturbed. In fact all the girls in the class was enjoying this scene. They all were laughing... Shahid didn't understand anything. After sometime Shahid turned back for some reason and his face bloomed with a smile, like a CFL lamp. (Even sachin wouldn't have been so happy when he finally lifted the world cup trophy after 22 years of waiting.)

Shahid saw that Amy was sitting on the last bench. When he saw her, she was already looking at him. But he wasn’t able to look at her like he previous did as he needed to turn back to see her and if he does that without a reason everyone will notice it. So he intentionally made some reasons to turn back,

- [ ] He was asking water, he was asking questions to people who are sitting behind him so that while he asks questions or takes water he can turn back and check on her that was his plan, unfortunately the guy who sat behind him was Sabin, he was good at making others laugh, but he was not so good at academics, in fact he has never answered a single question in his entire college life and Shahid is going to ask him questions so that he can see her. (But his only intention was to check on her in the name of asking questions ) Shahid asked a question to Sabin, Initially Sabin got curious and turned behind to check if Shahid was really talking to him or someone else behind him. In fact There were no one behind him and so he was confirmed that Shahid is asking him the question itself. Sabin got so happy and started acting like his the guy who knows everything under the sky, because this was the first time someone had ever asked him a question , he didn’t waste time to waste this opportunity. And Sabin started explaining him the answer... Shahid actually asked a question on Newton's third law and he started explaining with a calculator. (In fact no one knws what is the need of a calculator while explaining Newton's third law. Sabin was explaining so well with the calculator but Shahid was fully focused on Amy. He was so lost in his world... meanwhile Amy was busy talking to her friends.. Shahid was observing her keenly, and enjoying her expressions, mannerisms, the way she talks, her hand and eye movements. He felt like she is talking with her eyes instead of her mouth, her eyes were so expressive. While enjoying the scene Shahid was not realizing that, he is been watched by a group of girls making fun of him.

Time is a thief and it passed away quickly without leaving a clue.

Shahid had his Onam vacation, and for the first time he was so sad for the 10 days vacation because he won’t be able to meet Amy for another 10 days. On the first day of vacation, Shahid received a call from his friend Jobin.

Jobin: Shahid are you coming for CSS program? (Compulsory Social Service)

Shahid: Nop. I'm not interested in social service and all you guys can go and enjoy.

Jobin: Are you sure?

Shahid: yeah bro

Jobin: okay then

Shahid: yeah okay.... TC.........

(Suddenly Shahid remembered something and said

"Jobin hold on......wait a minute.... Who all are coming for the program?

Jobin: Almost everyone is coming. I saw the list of people going, except some of the guys, all others are coming.

Shahid was so happy after hearing that, as he can meet and spent sometime with Amy during the program

Shahid: bro let's go together. We should help the people who are in need. I won't be a good human being if I don't help the needy ,I would like to be a helping hand for them, I will also join you.

Jobin: what happened all of sudden? How come you become a social service driven person within a span of 10 seconds. What magic has happened?

Shahid: I got to remember some of my good lesson thought in school on the importance of helping poor people. So.....

Jobin: ok ok (in a sarcastic tone)

For the first time in his life Shahid got up around 4 am in the morning..Shahid mom also got up in the same time to prepare the coffee for him, she was so Happy, because her son is going for a Social service camp. she ironed his cloth and kept it in the bed by the time he took his bath, he said bye to his mom and left the home. He got into the first bus Itself, by Keeping kuthiran valley in mind, he was not ready to take any chance. Coz he don't knw the place where they're going for the camp, so he has to reach early join with someone who knows the route to the John Paul peace home. ( Google Map was not so popular in those days) So he made sure that, he is reaching the college well in advance. In fact on the that day he didn't face any trouble at all in kuthiran valley, he reached the college around 6.30 am in the morning. He was waited for other people to come, later some people came, and Shahid joined along with them. On the way while traveling Amy joined them. When Amy had seen Shahid, she had Amy smiled at him and they had small chit chat session.

Shahid was so happy...

They have reached John Paul peace home which is located in Olari, (a small village in Thrissur District, kerala)

Shahid was always behind Amy. They both were talking a lot to each other. Revathy was the program coordinator so she was so busy along with the other girls, so no one was not there to create Any problem for them, Shahid really used that opportunity. All the way through the camp, they have talked a lot about so many things. (He was always behind her just like how a dog will follow the born)

The program started around 9.30 am

(Basically John Paul peace home is place were lot of kids are staying, who are fighting with Aids, or Autism)

That trip had made lot of changes in Shahid. There were lot of young kids, who were so active, so polite moreover they were so Cute as well. In between that during the conversation with the mother superior he got to know that, though these kids are so active, anytime anything can happen to them. (Their life expectancy is very less, most of the kids over there will live maximum of another 1 year, difficult go beyond that.) Shahid's eyes got wet after hearing that, the kids who were playing along with him can die any moment. That shocking truth made him freezed. For a moment he thought why god is so cruel to them? How he could kill those innocent smile?

Suddenly Shahid heard Amy's voice from behind. She was sitting with a group of kids, she had a baby on her lap and she is been surrounded by many other kids. Amy was playing along with them... The way she cared for them, they way she talk to them, the way she treated them, the way she is played along with them... That made him fall for her. An innocent selfless girl.. that's the time when he started loving her so much. He was so much impressed with the way she treated those kids. That was an unforgettable scene for him.

Part of CSS they have conducted lot of activities and programs for the kids, they made sure that each and everyone out there enjoyed program to the core. They have also arranged typical Onam sadhya for the kids for lunch. They have served everyone with love. Once the kids finished the sadhya, Amy and other girls were started having the food. Intentionally Shahid was trying to serve her everything, just like how a husband will serve to his wife. Later Shahid and other boys were also sat for the lunch, just like Shahid served for Amy, Amy came serve for Shahid. For some moment he was in a dream world...and he enjoyed every bit of it.

Once all of them done with lunch, they were getting ready to leave to their next destination, before that Shahid called Amy and told her that he wanna talk to her something,

Amy said " yeah tell me"

Shahid: i want to talk to you something personal, would mind moving outside somewhere where there is not much crowd, coz I'm not comfortable to talk to you from here.

Amy: okay, i don't mind

They have moved towards the corner of a room, and then

Amy: yeah Shahid go on

Shahid: Amy.... I....... I mean....... Ufff.....See.... That.......I don't know.... I.....(he was literally struggling to get words, he was shivering, his throat was getting dry, he was sweating a lot... Finally he asked)

Amy How was the lunch?

Amy: (Amy with a smile) For this u called me here?

Shahid: No.... But..... Hmmm..... huhhhh.... I want to..... I want to...... Can i tell you later? Is that okay???

Amy had playful smile on her face and she said " okay tell me when you feel comfortable and started walking back, but Shahid was so sure that, he had already conveyed the message to her, through his silence and fumble, now he knows that, its the time to get the reply from her. So his mind was silently blabbering that, if she has got some feeling for you, then while walking back, she is definitely going to turn back and look at you with a smile.

Shahid was eagerly looking for her response... His heart started beating so fast....
